Latest Minecraft update out now for Xbox 360 & Xbox One

The latest update to Minecraft Xbox 360/Xbox One Edition is finally here, and it's bringing the winter with it. The latest Minecraft update which began rolling out on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One yesterday, brings with it some nice new toys for us all to play with, so lets take a look at what you can expect with this new update.

4j Studios, have added all the B's and we think it's beautiful. The October update for Minecraft on Xbox 360/Xbox One, brings you brand new blocks, banners, new food in the form of beetroot, and possible the best thing, it brings polar bears to the Xbox edition of Minecraft, that's right I said Polar bears. Here's a full list of what comes with the new Xbox Edition update.

• Polar bears: without a doubt the cutest thing to be added to Minecraft, you can find these polar bears along with there offspring in the frozen biomes.
• Igloos: Igloos now randomly spawn in the artic Biomes giving you some rest-bite from the cold winter air
• Beetroot: As mentioned before beetroot has been also added to Minecraft. You can farm the beetroot and create some nice beetroot soup which will regenerate 6 health.
• New Blocks: End Bricks, Grass Path, Frosted Ice, Magma, Nether Wart Block, Red Nether Brick and Bone Block.
• Banners: Minecraft is going all game of thrones on us. You can now add banners to your house, base, castle, you name it, place your banner on it so you can stand out.

That's everything that is included in the new October update for Minecraft Xbox 360/Xbox One edition, it may not be the big update that everyone was hoping for, or even the new Combat update that was hinted at but I still think this new update brings enough to keep me entertained. Minecraft Chinese Mythology Mash-Up Pack Comes to Xbox

Along with the Minecraft October Update on Xbox One and Xbox 360, 4J Studios has also released a brand new Mash-up pack to go with it. The brand new Mash-up pack is called the Chinese Mythology pack. In the pack not only will you get 41 brand new skins to kit yourself out, it comes with a premade world in which you can walk along the great wall, journey to the ancient dragons and wonder around the amazingly built ancient city. Another cool feature to the new Chinese Mythology Mash-up pack is it also comes with a new special map for the battle mini games.
